About: NEED

NEED is a company providing CAD drafting, advanced graphics services, IT support and advisory services for architects, interior architects, the real estate business, the cruise business and smaller companies. It is owned and run by Bjørnar Drangsland.

Some of the services that NEED provide are:
-Drafting (CAD).
-Surveying works (oppmåling) of existing buildings.
-High quality 2D colour plans of i.e. apartments, offices, public spaces on ships or buildings etc.
-High quality 2D renderings of building facades, ship profiles (sideviews) etc.
-3D visuals (for design studies and/or marketing/presentation purposes).
-Photo mounts (photo manipulation, combine real photos and 3D visuals).
-IT support and advisory services for architects.

Actively participating in all parts of a project, with my broad experience from many different types of projects, can be of benefit to all parties to a project.

History:

Y&S(1995 - 2005)

I, Bjørnar Drangsland, has worked at Y&S (Yran & Storbraaten Architects) as a member of staff since winter 1995 to winter 2005. Some of the tasks I have had at Y&S are:
-Making advanced computer graphics for presentations and/or marketing purposes
-3D modeller using 3dsmax
-Expand and maintain the Y&S web page
-Build, expand and maintain servers, network, printers, workstations
-Draftsman

Garnes Data AS(2005)

Since winter 2005 to autumn 2005 I was a member of staff at Garnes Data. My tasks at Garnes Data Konsult AS was:
Autodesk support (authorized by Autodesk), IT support and advisory services, arrange and hold courses, and graphics services for architect offices like e.g. Snøhetta, Hille & Melbye, Eliassen & Lambertz-Nilssen, Y&S.

NEED(2005 -)

Since autumn 2005 I have been working full time as a freelancer, mainly in the architect- and interior architect business.
